Interface
The oversized 12” touchscreen display offers an intuitive interface for effortless navigation through our easy-to-use software.
You can access pitches via pre-set selections, saved favorites, sequences, or by creating custom pitches using manual mode.
Features
Default Pitches
For fast and straightforward setup, choose from eight ready-to-use pitch types: fastball, change-up, heater, split finger, right/left-handed curveball, and right/left-handed slider.
Each pitch can be personalized in speed and spin to suit any drill or player level. Pitch placement can also be modified within the strike zone—or an expanded zone simulating a two-strike count.
Users can stick with preset options or switch to manual mode for full control over pitch type, speed, and placement, with repeat or variation as needed.
Manual Mode
Manual mode turns the machine into a basic Hack Attack, allowing individual control over each motor to craft your own pitches. Adjust pitch location instantly between throws using screen arrows.
Any pitch or series you create can be saved as a favorite for future use.
Favorite Pitches
Save your custom-tuned pitches for instant access from either the standard or manual pitch screens. Store up to 20 favorite pitches and easily retrieve, re-order, or modify them on the fly.
A 'last pitch' feature lets you pick up exactly where you left off—even after powering down the machine.
Favorite Sequences
Create and save pitch sequences of up to 10 pitches to challenge hitters or emulate specific pitchers. Choose from four run modes:
-
Auto – Runs the sequence once in saved order
-
Repeat – Loops the sequence continuously
-
Random – Shuffles pitch order randomly
-
Manual – Lets you manually select each pitch
Individual pitches within a sequence can be tweaked—adjust speed, spin, or placement—and saved again without disrupting the full sequence.
Settings & Utilities
Settings allow you to switch between adult or youth pitch difficulty, toggle between MPH and KMH, select language, set auto-shutoff timing, adjust screen brightness and buzzer volume, and enable screen lock with password protection.
Utilities include diagnostic tools, error code info, pitch count tracking, and software updates, which are downloadable from the SA site.
